I recently joined the Frito Lay Fan program and received all of these great items in the mail. I received (1) bag of Tostitos, (1) bag of Original Sun Chips, (1) bag of Lays Lightly Salted, a reusable shopping bag, chip clip, aluminum water bottle, small bag of Fritos, and one coupon good for any Frito Lay product! This is over a $20 value! How exciting.
In the first two days we had already eaten the bag of Lay Lightly Salted. These are delicious. They are not quite as salty as some chips but what would you expect with "lightly salted?" They were so crunchy and honstley amazing. I have never had this flavor before, but I do plan on buying them again.
Next we opened the Sun Chips. I'm not a fan of original Sun Chip but my husband ate them up quick. I guess he really likes them and has always liked them. One thing I didn't know about him. I really like the decomposable bag they use for these chips now. Its a very loud bag but a great idea!
The Tostitos we will eat with Tacos tonight. I'm sure most people have tried Tostitos and know they are much better than any other Tortilla Chip available. My favorite flavor is the Lime flavored. You have to try those! Let me tell you, they are strange at first but they are great!
I wanted to keep the water bottle but my husband snatched it. Uhhh... the married life. Anyways, here is a little information about Frito Lay.
- Frito-Lay starts with fresh, farm-grown ingredients, making many of our chips with just three simple ingredients: potatoes or corn, all-natural oils and salt.
- We were the first major food company to remove partially hydrogenated oils from our cooking oil way back in 2003. That means our chips have 0 grams trans fat because we use all-natural oils such as corn oil and sunflower oil.
- Many varieties of our chips provide whole grains like Tostitos® snacks, which contain 8 grams of whole grain corn per serving, and SunChips®, which brings 18 grams of whole grain per serving to your diet! SunChips® are also a good source of fiber.
- Frito-Lay supports American farmers and buys the potatoes used to make our potato chips from 80+ farms across 27 states.
