A Word to the End Time Church by Georgie Newman, is a book that challenges readers to examine their relationship with God. The book is split into two seconds. In the first section she asks readers to evaluate their relationship with God and she notes scripture about God telling us about spending time with him, prayer, listening to him, and more. In the second section she asks believers if they are ready for Jesus to return.
Newman discusses faith and the rejection of faith, spiritual maturity, who God is and what he does, and several other related topics. She discusses topics such as why people don't want to become Christians, the argument for attending church regularly, if you are saved once if you are always saved. The book is written in readable language that is easy to understand. Her message is powerful and fearless. It is a non-controversial book about controversial topics. Normally I wouldn't read a book like this, but Georgie had me cravingy more. She makes several great points in this book that will have you thinking about it for months.
I have to admit that I would probably not pick this book up off the shelf. But after reading it, I will not judge a book by its cover. This book really was a great read if you are a Christian and could be a great read if you are interested in reading something like this if you are not a Christian. The title of the book gives a small piece of evidence of whats inside. I strongly believe a better title could have been chosen for this book.
