Other Coupon Sources
  • Sunday Newspaper- A no brainer for most! But I thought I’d go ahead and mention it first since this is where I get the majority of my coupons from. I also don’t just buy one paper. When the inserts are big and the coupon’s are awesome, I’ve been known to purchase as many as ten!:-)
  • Blinkies & Tear Pads- Blinkies are little machines that spit out coupons and tear pads have coupons attached to them. Make sure you’re on the look out for these at all times!
  • Peelies- These are coupons attached to a product. They usually look like stickers, but they are coupons!
  • Printable Coupons- Internet Printable coupons are sometimes even higher value than the ones in the sunday paper! I would make sure to snatch up an inexpensive printer, so you can start printing all these money saving coupons!
  • Inside Products-Make sure to check for coupons inside products you buy. Also, sometimes manufacturers will put coupons on the box itself, so you’ll have to cut them out with scissors.
  • All You Magazine- This is a great magazine for building up your coupon stash. It can only be found at Walmart. You can also order a subscription online and get two free trial issues by going here. They have quite a few coupons that make the $1.97 purchase price well worth it! Check it out next time you’re at Walmart.
  • Samples- Free Samples are great.  Most of the time you can also find a coupon inside.
  • Facebook - Most companies have Facebook these days.  I always see free item coupons, free samples, ect., from them. 
  • Mailers- If you sign up with different companies they will usually mail you promotional offers and coupons periodically. I get a Huggies mailers on a regular basis and they’re always filled with lots of coupons!
  • E-Coupons - are clipless coupons that are loaded onto your store’s loyalty card. They can only be used once and can be combined with paper coupons.
**Two great ways to search for coupons you need are afullcup.com and hotcouponworld.com.  Both websites have a coupon database where you type in the coupon you need and it will tell you right where it can be found.  If it is printable it will show you a link to print the coupon.

BLINKIES = In-store smartsource coupons near product, usually from red blinking box
BOGO or B1G1 = Buy One Get One Free
CATALINA = coupon dispensed at register after purchase
DND = Do Not Double
DOUBLE COUPON = coupon that a grocery store doubles in value
ECB = CVS Extra Care Bucks earned for purchases
HBA = The health and beauty section in the grocery store
HANGTAG = coupons hanging on a product
IP = Internet Printable Coupon
MFG = Manufacture Coupon
MIR = Mail In Rebate
NED = No expiration date
OOP = Out of Pocket
OYNO = On your next order
P&G = Proctor & Gamble Sunday supplement coupons
PEELIE = coupon that you peel off the package
Q = Coupon
RC = Raincheck
RP = Red Plum Sunday Supplement Coupons
RR = Register Rewards at Walgreens
SS = Smart Source or Sunday Supplement coupons
STACKING = Using a store specific coupon with a MFG coupon (most stores allow this)
TEARPAD = A pad of refund forms or coupons found hanging from a store shelf or display
TMF = Try Me Free
TRIPLE COUPON = a coupon that a grocery store triples in value
WYB = When You Buy
YMMV = Your Mileage May Vary = success of the attempt may vary at your store

Coupon Locations in Deal Posts
example:  $1/1 Juice coupon from 3/2 RP.  Means the coupon can be found in the March 2nd Red Plum Insert.  Coupons do vary by location. I might get $1/1 Juice and you might get $1/2 if you are in a different area.
